At last weeks Trusted Advisor Success Training Workshop, I had the pleasure of spending two days with Mr. Mehdi. During those two days, I learned so much from this industry legend. Two of the biggest things I learned about where gratefulness and how to be humble.

I don’t know of many advisors that are even one third as humble and grateful as Mr. Medhi. He is a man who does not see himself as a success or a legend. If you were to ask him how he became so successful, he’d answer I’m still trying to be!

Mr. Mehdi does not praise himself, he gives all his credit to god. As Mehdi Says, without god we are nothing. No matter what god you follow.

These two days with Mehdi were very insightful and motivational. Hearing Mehdi’s story about how he got into the business and succeeded without knowing the language, without knowing the industry and without know anybody is truly inspiring. He also went on to tell the class that we can all do what he did, because we have so many advantages, we know the language, we know the industry and we know people.

We have NO excuse not to succeed!
