(Marketing And Sales Resource Center)  The advisor, who wrote this post, is a 16 year veteran of the insurance industry, who was typically earning $30,000 to $40,000 per year 5 years ago, and for the past couple of years has been consistently earning well over $200,000 per year.

Do Good Deeds

If you want people to get to know you, come to your free educational workshops and/or set an appointments with you, then you must become well known in your local community. You may want to consider holding a food drive to benefit your local emergency food bank, your church, etc.  It's simple and costs very little.  Just, call everyone on your mailing list a couple of weeks before the donation pick up.  Call again two days ahead of pick up.

 

As you pick up the donation, have a conversation with your clients and the people who are on your list who haven't yet availed themselves of your services ...and then give them your free report and business card.  You'll be doing something good for your community and you'll receive follow-up calls of appreciation and referrals.

 

Don't forget to submit a press release of your special event to your local newspaper.
